Club Open Day 2009

E-mail Print

Inverness Canoe Club's annual 'come-and-try' open day will be held on 3 October at Loch Achilty, near Contin from 10.30am until 3pm.

Located adjacent to the Forestry Commission car park at Loch Achilty (by Contin), the event is open to all (incl. non-members) who would like to come along and learn more about paddlesport, try out various canoes/kayaks, watch demos of playboating, kayaing, packing open boats for touring etc.

There will also be a few bushcraft and wildlife identification workshops and a BBQ...should be a great day out for all the family!

Bring along some warm thermal clothes, a towel and a spare change of clothes if you fancy trying out some of the demo boats...it doesn't cost anything, just your time!

Pre-booking is not required, although you may want to bring a bit of food for the BBQ...also, if you fancy helping out, please give Fiona Rice a shout: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
