Inverness Canoe Club - Kayaking and Canoeing in the Scottish Highlands

The Spring Course is Inverness Canoe Club's annual introduction to canoeing and kayaking course, held primarily at the Muirtown Basin in Inverness. It is aimed at people who are new to canoeing and kayaking and would like some foundation skills and knowledge.

The course intended to be a recreational training programme, on completion of which attendees may expect to exceed the requirements of the (UKCC) BCU One Star performance award, and have progressed some way towards the BCU Two Star award.

The course will run from Friday 13th April 2012 until Wednesday 9th May (incl. all Friday and Wednesday evenings inbetween). Sessions will be held principally at Muirtown Basin in Inverness, although the first two Friday nights will be at the Aquadome in Inverness. There will also be a variety of weekend day trips.
